Camborne-based Greenmount Carpets bolsters its support of sport in Cornwall.
Truro City Football Club is delighted to announce a two-year agreement with Greenmount Carpets as a new shirt sponsor.
Camborne-based Greenmount Carpets is one of the region’s largest stockists of carpet and flooring, and is a big supporter of professional sport in Cornwall.
Its logo will now take up a prominent position on the shirt sleeves of Truro City Football Club players.
Truro City’s Finance Director Rebecca Thomas said: “We are thrilled that Greenmount Carpets is joining the Truro City team for the next two years. Having an established and popular business such as theirs as supporters of the Club is a real marker for our ambitions going forward and we can’t wait to work in partnership with Greenmount Carpets on what is an exciting time to be involved with the Club.”
Speaking about the sponsorship agreement, Jeremy Stephens from Greenmount Carpets said: “Greenmount Carpets are thrilled to be sponsoring Truro City Football Club. We sponsor the Cornish Pirates, so it made absolute sense to keep it consistent.
“Sport in general, means a lot to us all here at Greenmount, and being involved with Cornish football for the next few years is an opportunity that the business couldn’t really turn down in terms of a platform for us to advertise our brand.

Greenmount Carpets Continue Their Sponsorship
The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce that Greenmount Carpets (Camborne) Ltd have agreed to continue their sponsor partnership with the club for the 2021/22 season.
It is the third year running that such support will be given and it is greatly appreciated. The club’s CEO, Rebecca Thomas, has commented:
Having for the past two seasons enjoyed an excellent relationship with Greenmount Carpets, we now look forward to continuing our partnership and together strengthen our brands still further.

The Cornish Pirates are pleased to announce that Cornish firm Greenmount Carpets will be a kit sponsor this season, the company’s name to appear on the right sleeve.
Jeremy Stephens, owner of Greenmount Carpets, has commented:
"This has been something that I have been considering for many years. We have been investing our money in other clubs and I believe the Pirates are the future of Cornish rugby.
Rugby is my passion and choosing to invest in it I wanted to combine two growing businesses with a view to making this a long-term relationship. The professionalism and support we have already received from the Cornish Pirates has been second to none and this confirms that Greenmount Carpets have made the right decision."
